MOKET SIGNS FLASH MOBILE CONTENT DEAL WITH FONESTARZ
Thursday, 21 August 2008
Australian mobile content developer Moket has signed a deal with UK-based mobile content managed services company FoneStarz for distribution of Flash Lite mobile wallpapers and screensavers.
Moket was selected to provide this exciting new content format after FoneStarz developed its Daius platform to deliver Flash Lite products to its mobile network operator customers around the world. Moket has a proven track-record with its Flash Lite catalogue and unique content, making it an ideal partner for FoneStarz.
"We strive to be at the forefront of mobile imagery development, offering our customers the very latest products and we look forward to working with Moket to distribute its innovative content to our global network partners," said Dave Moreau, Chief Executive Officer, FoneStarz Media.
This will be some of the first Flash Lite content that FoneStarz has served up to content hungry customers with the latest generation of mobile phones.
Moket founder and CEO, Dale Rankine, believes that curiosity in Flash Lite from major operators and content specialists like FoneStarz is now turning into a solid commitment to the platform.
"For the past three years we have been lobbying and working with the content industry to see the value in Flash Lite content developed for the mass consumer market," said Rankine.
"Partnerships with companies such as FoneStarz are enabling Moket and our own network of developers and artists to bring new genres of rich mobile experiences to consumers around the world."
